When Obama was president, he talked about increasing income tax on rich too. Lots of rich people were calling out that they would like to pay more tax and supported Obama. One of them is Bill Gates. Actually there was a back door for these rich people established by the Obama administration. The final tax was still imposed on the higher middle class with the billionaires only pay about 13%.
